Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha airport. Meet your safari guide and transfer to your hotel in Arusha.
Relax with your family after the journey and prepare for the safari adventure ahead.
Meals: Dinner
Accommodation: Family-friendly hotel in Arusha
Day 2: Arusha – Lake Natron
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Lake Natron, located in the Great Rift Valley near Ol Doinyo Lengai Volcano.
Enjoy scenic views along the way and arrive in the afternoon for relaxation. Kids can enjoy short walks and exploration around the lodge area.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Lodge or camp near Lake Natron
Day 3: Lake Natron – Exploration Day
Spend a full day exploring Lake Natron.
Activities may include visiting waterfalls, walking along the lake, and observing flamingos. Families can also interact with local Maasai communities and learn about their culture in a fun and engaging way for children.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Lodge or camp near Lake Natron
Day 4: Lake Natron – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park with game viewing along the way.
Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy your first game drive, spotting animals such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and elephants.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Family-friendly lodge or camp in Serengeti
Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Full Day Game Drive
Enjoy a full day exploring Serengeti National Park.
Game drives are adjusted to suit families, with breaks and picnic lunch in the park. Kids will enjoy spotting wildlife and learning about animals from your guide.

Accommodation: Lodge or camp in Serengeti
Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Overnight in Karatu
After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, where you may spot lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, flamingos, and hippos.
After lunch, ascend the crater and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Accommodation: Lodge in Karatu
Day 7: Karatu – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.
Tarangire is famous for its elephants, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, making it exciting for families and children. Enjoy picnic lunch and continue with afternoon game viewing.
Dinner and overnight near Tarangire.

Day 8: Tarangire – Transfer to Arusha / Airport (KIA)
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha or transfer directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) for your departure flight.
