The 6-Day Lake Natron & Serengeti Safari is a unique and adventurous journey that combines Tanzania’s remote landscapes with world-famous wildlife destinations. This safari takes you off the beaten path to the dramatic and less-visited Lake Natron, followed by incredible wildlife experiences in Serengeti National Park and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.

Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha – Lake Natron
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to the remote and dramatic Lake Natron area.
Enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and relax.
In the afternoon, you may take a short walk around the area to enjoy the unique landscape.

Day 2: Lake Natron – Exploration Day
Spend a full day exploring Lake Natron, one of Tanzania’s most unique and beautiful destinations.
Activities include a guided walk to the nearby waterfalls, a visit to the lake to see flamingos, and optional cultural interaction with the Maasai community.
Enjoy the stunning scenery, including views of Ol Doinyo Lengai, an active volcanic mountain.

Accommodation: Lodge or camp at Lake Natron
Day 3: Lake Natron – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart Lake Natron and drive to Serengeti National Park.
Enjoy a game drive en route, spotting wildlife as you enter the Serengeti ecosystem. Arrive in the central Serengeti area for an afternoon game drive.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Lodge or tented camp in Central Serengeti
Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Full Day Game Drive
Spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, with opportunities to see lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and more.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Lodge or tented camp in Central Serengeti
Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Overnight Karatu
After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, where you can spot a wide variety of wildlife including lions, buffalo, elephants, and possibly the rare black rhino.
After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Lodge in Karatu
Day 6: Karatu – Transfer to Arusha
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha or transfer directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) for your departure.
This marks the end of your unforgettable 6-Day Lake Natron & Serengeti Safari.
